A while ago at AlphaGraphics, to help with my sales efforts, we created some humorous dimensional pieces as door openers to prospective clients. We rolled out one each quarter. One used plastic army men with free movie tickets, another used miniature American flags and gave away free apple pie as an incentive.
The funniest and the funnest one we did was a large 12"x 18" cartoon. (See below)
We hired talented cartoonist, Shawn Boyles and creative texture, color stylist, Isaac Stewart to help us with this dimensional piece. The concept and copy writing came from Clark Thornock and me with helpful input from Heather Merlen, Ray Elder, Brian Turley and Mary our book keeper. Some fine tuning and direction came from the astute advice of an MSI marketing group, that I attended, headed by Bryan Pope. Enoch Chapman of the MSI group was especially helpful.
Digital print enabled variable data, programmed by Clark Thornock, made it possible for each cartoon to be uniquely personalized for each recipient company.
